JENNINGS (Findhorn). Gracefully as ever, at Cathay Nursing Home, Forres, on Tuesday. 7th January. 2025, Doreen Jennings (nee Garvock) of Findhorn, aged 85 years. Beloved wife of Mike, much loved mother of Stephen, Lindy and Kerry, a stepmother and cherished mother-in-law, devoted grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. CURTIS Kathleen Curtis (nee Aylward), loving wife to Michael, mummy to Katherine and granny to Oliver, Poppy, Cicely and Orlando, passed away peacefully, at home in Guildford Surrey, after bravely and stoically battling Ataxia. Born in Ranmoor, Findhorn, Kathleen attended primary school in the village before completing her studies at Forres Academy. She moved to London for a long and successful career in the Civil Service, beginning her working life in the General Register Office in Somerset House before her long term appointment as a Valuation Officer, first in London, then Guildford and Godalming. Although she settled south, her heart was always in Scotland with many fond memories of growing up in Findhorn and summer visits. "Gentle, kind and selfless" are the words that encapsulate a remarkable woman who achieved so much within her career yet prioritised her family above all else. She was unfailing in her love and is deeply missed by her family, including her dear sister Florence Higham. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, 11th January, 2025 at 11am in Kinloss Church before a burial in Kinloss Abbey. Sadly but peacefully, at Abbeyside Nursing Home, Elgin, on Saturday, 21st December, 2024, John Arnold William Elias, of Warden Place, Forres, aged 93 years, beloved husband of the late Joyce, a much loved father of Dawn and Arnold and a sadly missed relative and friend. MORTON Harvey Rhodes Morton, 85, of Findhorn, Morayshire died peacefully, at his home, on 12th December, 2024. Harvey, loving husband of Joy, was born in Rotherham, Yorkshire on 30th October, 1939 to Rhodes 'Roy' and Laura Morton and grew up in Stewarton, Ayrshire, attending Kilmarnock Academy. He travelled the world with the Royal Air Force and subsequently he joined the computer company Burroughs. Afterwards, he assumed his father's responsibilities as Stewarton Sub-Postmaster until his retirement to Findhorn village. Harvey was preceded in death by Joy and his brother Dick and is survived by his sister Marion, four sons, Alastair, Jamie, Peter and Fraser and five grandchildren, Lauren, Emily, Xander, Melody and Austin. Service will be held at Kinloss Parish Church on Friday, 10th January at 11:30am; thereafter to Inverness Crematorium.

A loving mum to Michael and the late Mark (Marko), mother-in-law to Jacqueline, a much loved granny to Cameron, Fraser, Toni-lee and Kirsten, a dear sister to Patricia and the late William.
