The Forres side thumped league new boys Riverside Thistle 5-0 at Roysvale last Thursday.

Mosset's win took them above Forres mechanics under-20s into third place in the west table

Daniel Dey struck twice for the home side with David Bromley, Gregor Ewan, and Dale MacLennan scoring a goal apiece.

The top-of-the-table clash between Carisbrooke and Kinloss Sappers in the west was postponed at the request of the Forres outfit.

In the East conference, made up of five Elgin teams, there were good away wins for Elgin Caledonian and Elgin Albion on Friday.

Four goals by Craig Harrold fired Caley to a 6-2 win at Caberfeidh, with David Robb and an own goal completing the winners' goal tally.

Albion visited The Vikings and raced into an early 4-0 lead, courtesy of a Craig Strathdee brace and one each for Alan Currie and Raymond Anderson on his debut.

A resurgent Vikings side gave a better account in the second half and earned a consolation goal from Tomasz Starybrat to finish the game 4-1.
