Kinloss Eagles kept up their relentless start to the Caledonia North Division 2 Highlands and Islands Conference season on Saturday.

Inspired by a five-try performance from the powerful Josaia Vuetimacuata, the Moray outfit proved too strong for a visiting Skye side.

Eagles made it six wins out of six for the campaign, having just been promoted from the league below last term.

They scored a total of 11 tries in their 73-15 victory, nine of the scores being converted.

Kinloss have now scored a total of 61 tries in their six fixtures so far, amassing a points tally of 407 with just 103 conceded.

The season began with a 71-22 success at home to Stornoway, running in 11 tries including a hat-trick from Vilive Koroibanuve.

A dozen tries went over the line at Morriston playing fields when Kinloss overwhelmed Moray 2nd XV by an 82-5 scoreline.

It was closer in Caithness, Kinloss managing six tries for a 40-19 victory.

They battled from 15 points down to inflict a first defeat of the season on Ross Sutherland, securing a 46-27 win.

Eagles then clocked up a 75-15 win over Inverness Craig Dunain, amassing 12 tries.

They make the trip to Stornoway this weekend.
