The contrast has been striking between the two Forres Mechanics-Nairn County derby clashes this season.

Mechanics registered a thumping 5-0 success at Station Park in August, but County had their revenge on Saturday.

Looking down-and-out at 3-1 down with little over 15 minutes to go, Nairn found their match-winner in 39-year-old evergreen Irishman Conor Gethins.

The former Ross County and Peterhead man plundered a 15-minute treble including a penalty and a free kick winner to spark wild celebrations in the visiting camp.
