Joe McCabe's close range finish had given Buckie an early lead and the coast side were dominant in the first quarter of the final.

But a solo effort by Ally MacKenzie drew Rothes level before half time.

Ross Jack's side made their task all the more difficult when midfielder Craig Cormack was sent off for dissent in the second half.
