Several Forres Harriers, and some others who train with the club, tested themselves over a 400m pool swim, 14.77km mixed trail

The great Scottish weather played a big factor on the day. For those with a slower swim time and therefore first to be set off in the pool, weather conditions were kind. For those faster swimmers starting in the later heats, the weather became a real challenge when the heavens opened.

First Harrier home was Andrew Morgan, 54.41, finishing fourth overall with the fastest run time of the day. Andrew Barr, 55.24, was first junior male and fifth overall. Tim Pott, 55.51, was sixth overall and took the first male super veteran prize.

Other Harriers placings: Rod Wallace, 58.31, first male veteran; Gary MacFadyen, 58.52, and Jamie Watson, 1.00.22; Susan McRitchie, 1.03.20, third lady overall and fastest female run; Eliza Bonsall, 1.04.21, first junior female; Elizabeth Watson, 1.05.07, second female super veteran; Ross McLeod, 1.05.25, strong over cycle and run; Nadine Williams, 1.06.32, second female veteran prize; Kirstie Rogan, 1.06.39; Dale Stephen, 1.07.12; Anna MacFadyen, 1.09.45; Ros Wright, 1.12.02; Sandra Philip, 1.13.25; Anne Docherty, 1.15.27, for third year running first vintage lady; Shirley Feaks 1.16.30.
