Kinloss Eagles Rugby Club soar into semi-finals of National Bowl with a trip to Scotland's national Murrayfield Stadium awaiting the winners of this weekend's clash against Cumbernauld

A chance to play on the hallowed turf of Murrayfield lies in front of Kinloss Eagles Rugby Club.

On Saturday Kinloss host Cumbernauld in the semi-finals of the National Bowl, with the winners marching on to the final at Scotland’s national stadium on May 6.

Edinburgh University medics take on Panmure in the other semi-final.

The Moray club won their place in the National Bowl after coming through the Caledonia North Bowl stages throughout the season, eventually defeating Moray rivals RAF Lossiemouth in the final on March 4.

Kinloss are bidding to make it a memorable season by pushing for promotion to Tennents Caledonia North Region Division 2 next season.

They are currently involved in the promotion play-offs having finished second in the Highlands and Islands Conference League, just pipped to first place by Stornoway.

The Eagles are involved with five other clubs in a play-off group and got off to the perfect start on Saturday, defeating Highland 3rds by a 27-0 scoreline to race to the top of their section.

Saturday’s big match against Cumbernauld begins at 3pm.
