FORRES Mechanics have announced a new chairman after the resignation of Dr James Anderson.
The Doc (75) decided to step down from his role last week after 13 years – and will be replaced by vice-chairman and secretary Dave MacDonald.
Mechanics announced the news on Tuesday. A club statement said: "The board of Forres Mechanics Football Club are pleased to announce Dave MacDonald has been appointed our new chairman.
"Dave has served the club loyalty over many years most recently as our vice chairman and secretary and we look forward to working with and supporting him to take the club forward."
