Moray rugby girls selected for national representative match

Two of Moray Rugby Club's female recruits were selected to play for Caledonia North in a representative match.

Iona Macleod and Eilidh Hay were part of the north XV taking on the Midlands in last weekend's match in Dundee.

Moray RFC are looking to introduce more female players to the sport by encouraging them to take part in their weekly training sessions.

The club hosts girls training sessions at Elgin High School on Tuesdays and ladies rugby training on Thursdays.
