Jags issued a statement on their Facebook page saying they had reached a mutual agreement to end Bremner's two-year spell in charge at Logie Park.

Assistant Garry McGingle is joining Bremner in exiting the club.

Forres finished bottom of Division 1 this season with their final match on Wednesday ending in a 2-1 defeat to promotion chasers Deveronside.

Bremner was appointed Thistle manager in June, 2017 having also bossed Dufftown, a role which earned him a step-up to Highland League management with Rothes.
