The Forres club celebrated Iris Whitton’s achievement of winning the overall gold medal in the 10/11 intermediate age group, as well as a floor gold and vault silver.

Iris also teamed up with Molly Sinclair, Sophie Scott, Libby Attridge and Madison Collie for team silver. Molly was among the medals in the individual 10/11 years competition, claiming silver on the floor and bronze overall.

Freya Paterson was overall champ in the 12+ intermediate, winning floor silver and floor bronze as well as team silver with Pollaidh Astley and Faye Nicol. Pollaidh also took a silver in the floor competition.

In the beginners’ section, there was a team bronze for the Forres quartet of Mya Morrison (sixth overall), Matilda Gee, Fern Thomson and Louisa Walters in the 6/7 years section.

Rhianna Lane was fourth in the floor competition of the 8/9 years.

At 12+ age group, Mya Cameron was in good form to take the floor competition bronze and the ribbon for sixth place overall.

The club has two more competitions left, the Glitterball at Inverurie and the Scottish Floor and Vault Championships in Perth.
