DESPITE the cold showery weather in the morning, 36 Wednesday Seniors turned out for a three man team Stableford event.
Each team recorded their best ball score on each hole, but for one hole only, all three scores had to count; the choice of hole for all three scores was left to each teams’ discretion.
Only four points separated the first 10 teams, but the penultimate team led by Ken Thomson swept the field before them with an excellent score of 60 – a clear seven points ahead of the teams in second place. The afternoon sunshine obviously provided the necessary tonic!
RESULTS
1: Ken Thomson(9), Finlay Mackintosh(17) and John MacRae(26) – 60pts.
2: Tom Fleetham(7), Les Morgan(15) and Gary MacDonald(16) – 53pts(BIH).
3: Jeff Wheeler(8), Ian Dustan(26) and Robbie Dustan(27) – 53pts.
