The coastal club played hosts to Moray BC with each club winning two games. The margin of victory by Charlie Stewart and Mark Thompson for the home club ensured a 13-shot winning margin as the champions continued their recent form winning a fourth successive game and a maximum 24 points from 24 as they take top spot for the first time this season.

Long-time leaders Burghead suffered a cruel fate at Forres Royal British Legion.

Rondy Mackenzie won his match 16-5 only for Jim Hasman to win 19-7 to give the hosts a one-shot advantage.

Both second session matches were tightly contested, David Ross winning 11-9 for the visitors, Neil Mathers scored a double on the last end to secure a dramatic one-shot overall win and five valuable points for the Legion as they fight to stay in the first division.

Burghead drop to second place, one point behind with two games to play although they remain slight favourites with home advantage in one of their games.

Fochabers won all four matches against Hopeman A as they make a late push to keep their place in the top division.

Bishopmill won a tight affair against Alves by four shots as they also look to keep their place in the first division.

In the second division, Duffus were the big winners amongst the top clubs with a strong performance away at Lossiemouth winning three and drawing one of the four games.

Lossie BC were surprisingly easy winners at home to leaders Lhanbryde with Rob Sutherland the standout performer winning 23-4.

Forres Victoria made a significant move in their quest for promotion, Brian Caldwell, and Charlie Watt both with convincing wins.

Fogwatt are starting to find their form winning 58-28 at home to Hopeman B, Gordon Wiles and Will Muir both in dominant form.
