A SMALLER than number of players took part in a Texas Scramble, as 33 Wednesday Seniors lined-up to play.

Brisk winds kept the scores to sensible levels, but five of the 11 teams still managed to score below 60 with only one shot separating the top three teams.

It was nice to see Hunter Brown back in the “winners circle”; his team recorded a fine win with a score of 58.3.

Results:

1: Hunter Brown(12), Gordon Laing(7) and Dennis Pritchard(21) – 58.3.

2: Alasdair More(3), Ian Hampton(12) and Vince Dobby(15) – 59.0.

3: Mike Sweeney(12), Ian Dustan(26) and Jim Hogg(26) – 59.3.
