Match of the day is in Pitmedden where new leaders Buckie Thistle's title credentials are put to the test by Formartine United.

Jags went top on Wednesday with a 5-1 win at Keith, overtaking top two Brechin and Brora who didn't have a match.

The table toppers are on a seven-game unbeaten league run but Formartine have won six-in-a-row in all competitions and won't be a pushover for Buckie.

It's derby day in Rothes where the hosts are hitting form but face a challenge against a Lossiemouth side that has won seven games in all competitions this season.

The Coasters are without captain Liam Archibald and defender Lewis McAndrew who are attending a wedding.

Forres Mechanics' good home record of late will be put to the test by champions Fraserburgh, who won 4-1 at Huntly in midweek.

Huntly themselves have another tough Christie Park clash against Brora Rangers, the league's highest scoring team.

The Cattachs have netted 64 league and cup goals including 33 from the deadly partnership of Andy Macrae (19) and Jordan MacRae (14).

Keith travel to Inverurie Locos, who recently knocked them out of the Aberdeenshire Shield.

Turriff head to an improving Nairn County while the bottom two meet in Grantown, where Banks O' Dee look for their first win since their 24-point deduction against Strathspey, who won for the first time at Clach on Wednesday.

Unbeaten Brechin host Clach in a 2pm kick-off while Deveronvale, with just one win in their last 14 outings, will look to change their luck when they make the long journey to Wick Academy.
