DEFEAT for Rothes at Nairn County was the surprise result of the Highland League weekend.
The Speysiders have won the most away points in the league this term so a trip to Station Park, where home side Nairn hadn't won in the league all season, shouldn't have held great fears.
But a young Nairn side buoyed by a thrilling 5-4 win at Deveronvale a week earlier produced a fine display to come from behind for a 3-2 success.
Young striker Ciaran Young puit the Highland side ahead within a minute, the only goal of the first half.
Rothes were equally swift in levelling just sixty seconds into the second half through Ryan McRitchie, and edged in front with a goal by former Nairn man Gary Kerr.
But Nairn subs Dylan MacKenzie and Conor Gethins came off the bench to net a goal apiece and consign Ross Jack's team to defeat.
Gethins netted twice against Rothes in a 2-2 draw at MacKessack Park earlier this season, and this time got the winner with his 12th goal of the campaign.
Aberdeenshire Shield finalists Huntly built on their midweek success over Inverurie Locos with a 4-1 win at Lossiemouth.
The Christie Park side handed a trial appearance to former Inverurie striker Andy Hunter, who scored five goals in two trial outings for Deveronvale recently.
Hunter kept up his scoring run by putting Huntly in front just before half time at Grant Park.
Brodie Allen levelled for the Coasters just 30 seconds into the second half, but Huntly stepped up a gear to add three more through Gavin Elphinstone, Joel MacBeath and Glenn Murison.
Wick Academy also produced a fine comeback for a 3-2 win at Clach.
The Scorries trailed 2-0 to goals by James Anderson and Robbie Thompson before pulling one back with a Gordon MacNab goal on half time.
Mark Macadie and Steven Anderson netted for the Caithness side after half time to complete a remarkable turnaround.
Ukrainian Max Kucheriavyi was the star man in Brechin City's 4-0 success over Deveronvale.
The on-loan St Johnstone man scored twice and gave Vale a torrid time, with Murray Mackintosh and Jack Milne also netting to put City joint-second along with Buckie.
Jags game at Keith was called off 15 minutes before kick-off.
The game of the day between Brora Rangers and leaders Fraserburgh was also postponed as was Forres Mechanics' trip to Strathspey Thistle, Turriff United's home clash with Inverurie Locos and Formartine United's meeting with bottom side Fort William.
