FORRES Harriers were at the RUN 4 IT North District Cross Country League, held in Culloden on Saturday.

The conditions were perfect, and the course was flat and uncomplicated, for the 34 who took part.

First off was the U11 girls with Emma Rogan sixth and Erin Carpenter seventh.

Next was the U11 boys, and in his first Harriers event Tommy McGrath came sixth. He was well supported by Andrew Massie in 14th and David Scott in 15th.

In the U15 girls, Lucy Massie (second) and Zoe Hayward (fourth) showed how it should be done, and Fraser Scott came eighth in the U17s.

The men’s race was once again dominated by the Harriers with 19 members competing.

Kyle Greig was a clear winner followed by Gordon Lennox in second, Simon Pride in third and Robbie Paterson fourth, to once again give the Harriers the first four places and the first team.

A special mention to two new members running their first Forres Harriers Cross Country. Steven Ilott who came 47th and Darren Walker who, unfortunately, had to pull out due to injury.

A good day for the Harriers.
