It was a well organised event with the weather best described as changeable.

The club had some great results in the series, with the men claiming the overall team trophy and the ladies taking second place.

Paul Rogan was best male veteran.

In the under-11 girls’ race on Saturday, Emma Rogan was 11th, Anya Hayward 15th and Lauren Cameron 20th. This was followed by the U11 boys, with Ben Cameron in 9th, Jack Christie 19th and David Scott 20th.

The only other junior running was Zoe Hayward in the U15 girls. She needed a good run to finish in the top three in the series, and, true to form, she ran a brilliant race to come second and secure third place overall.

In the ladies’ race, Moira Davie came second to secure the second overall trophy. With the support of Susan McRitchie 9th, Moraig Lyle 14th, Ros Wright 19th, Claire Nicholas 21st and Nadine Williams 23rd, this ensured second place overall for the Ladies’ team.

The men’s race was once again dominated by the Harriers, with Kyle Greig first, Gordon Lennox second, Paul Rogan fifth and Graeme Bartlett 13th making sure of the overall team trophy.

A total of 18 male Harriers ran.
