Harriers pose some soup-er times

WARM but favourable running conditions on Sunday (September 29) saw some impressive times, and results posted by Forres Harriers taking part in the Baxter’s 10k and Marathon in Inverness.

In the 10k, Kyle Greig finished third overall in a PB time of 31.37. Stan Mckenzie took the prize for first male 50+ in time of 33.26. Stan’s time from Baxter’s ranks him currently at number one in Great Britain in the Veteran 50+ Category for the 10k road race.

irst lady harrier to finish was Susan McRitchie in 41.57. Andrew Little finished in 43.07, closely followed by Norma Beaton in 43.32. Clare Nicholas finished in a PB time of 47.36. Anne Docherty took the prize for first female 60+ in a PB time of 51.27. Elizabeth Smart finished in 52.06. Carol Murphy’s finishing time was 52.41. Ally Harris finished in 58.34.

Two Harriers took on the challenge of the Marathon: James Hume finished in 4:03.48. This is on the back of James completing the Jungfrau Mountain Marathon, in Switzerland only 2 weeks ago.

Jess Neal completed marathon in 4:40.09.
