On Saturday, the Black and Golds posted a 3-0 victory on home soil against the Cans with Robbie Foster scoring all three.

Three days earlier the spoils were shared at Mosset Park in a 2-2 draw.

Foster, recently on the transfer list at Huntly after failing to agree a new deal, took his goal tally for the season into double figured after netting the first treble of his Highland League career.

The former Fort William winger took just 12 minutes to open the scoring from an assist by Angus Grant, who netted five times in the first half of their previous home match against Strathspey Thistle.

Grant also laid on Foster’s second, nodding the ball across for the winger to head past Caley Thistle loan keeper Corey Paterson.

A flick by Andy Hunter released Foster to bash in his third on 75 minutes to seal Huntly’s fifth win in their last eight outings.
