The former Forres Mechanics stalwart netted Jags' second goal in a 3-0 victory at Cruden Bay on Saturday.

Allan started the move for the opening Forres goal in Buchan after 11 minutes, breaking down the right before passing Ross Paterson in to the by-line and his cross was slid home by Neil Moir.

Mattie Davidson had an effort cleared off the line while last week’s hat-trick hero Matty Fraser went through and rounded the keeper only to hit the side netting from a tight angle.

Cruden Bay were reduced to ten men when David Coutts lunged in on Moir and was shown a straight red card ten minutes before half time.

Into the second half, Moir forced a good save while Fraser went even closer with a deflected effort which struck the home bar on the hour.

Fraser and Charlie Beck missed chances before Allan got the important second goal on 69 minutes with a free kick wide on the left that evaded everyone and crept into the goal.

The Cruden Bay keeper then fumbled a Davidson corner into his own net with seven minutes left to seal all three points for the visitors.
