A SLOW start to both halves cost Forres Thistle in Saturday’s 3-3 draw with Longside.

The Jags fell behind inside five minutes when a corner was turned home by Owen Tocher from six yards.

The scores were level on 16 minutes when Neil Moir’s 20-yard shot found the net.

Brandon Hutcheson netted from eight yards to give Thistle a 2-1 lead five minutes before half-time.

Neil Moir made it 3-1 at the break, netting from 16 yards after a free kick.

A poor start to the second half saw Ryan Wilson head home from five yards to reduce the deficit, with the scores level just six minutes after the restart when Tocher was fouled in the box and James Pryor tucked away the resultant penalty.

Jordan Mowat was shown a straight red card for a bad tackle on Hutcheson with 25 minutes to play but Thistle couldn’t make the extra man count as it ended 3-3.

The Jags are away to Sunnybank next weekend.
