The first title success has been claimed in Morayshire Indoor Bowling Association's league season.
Forres Royal British Legion have won the Alexander Wallace (Toyota) second division championship.
The Legion have won 11 out of 13 games with still one game to play against their neighbours Forres Victoria.
At the start of the season, it was unclear if the Legion would have enough players to participate in the Morayshire leagues.
President Ted Lamsdell thanked the association for allowing the second division to be flexible as to how many players could play in league matches.
Having won the title, Forres RBL's focus is on recruiting more players to enable them to take their place in the first division for the start of next season.
The title shield will be presented at finals night on March 23.
Duffus clinched the second automatic promotion place with a hard-earned home victory over Lossie Bowling Club A.
The teams were all-square after the first three games, then Arthur Morgan won his match 13 shots to 4 shots which ensured a maximum six points for the home club.
In the first division, Lhanbryde require two points on their travels to Moray BC to guarantee second place while Fochabers host Alves with third place still very much up for grabs.
With Fogwatt already relegated, Hopeman, Burghead and Moray bowling clubs will be keeping a close eye on each other’s results as the second relegation place goes to the last match of a highly competitive first season back after COVID.
