Forres Mechanics' match against Brechin City postponed due to 'considerable rainfall'

FORRES Mechanics home match against Brechin City has been postponed due to adverse weather.

The decision comes more than 24 hours before the game was due to kick-off (Saturday, 3pm).

Mechanics have had a run of home games lately and are training at Mosset Park just now, making the pitch heavier than usual.

A club statement said: "Due to the considerable amount of rainfall this week, unfortunately the pitch has failed an inspection and tomorrow’s match against Brechin City FC has been postponed."
