Forres Mechanics draw Strathspey Thistle in North of Scotland Cup draw

The North of Scotland Cup first round draw has handed Forres Mechanics a home opening tie.

The Cans will play host to Strathspey Thistle in the first round on Wednesday, August 30.

Lossiemouth, who have reached the semi-finals in each of the last two seasons, will visit Nairn County, also in round one.

Rothes have been handed a bye into the second round, while holders Brora Rangers are at home to former Highland League outfit Fort William.
