Elgin City have made their second loan signing of the close season - with a third to be confirmed ahead of their Viaplay Cup opener against Motherwell.
Ross County have confirmed that midfielder Ryan MacLeman (19) will be farmed out to the Borough Briggs club this season.
He joins Aberdeen attacker Liam Harvey, who will make his debut against 'Well at Borough Briggs this weekend.
Elgin manager Ross Draper said a third player will also be brought in on loan this week, believed to be a defender also on the books of Aberdeen.
"We’ve agreed two in principle and we are awaiting clearance from the SFA with both," Draper said yesterday.
"That will be two more bodies in the door and there are a couple of other things we are waiting on.
"Things are starting to move now. It was standstill for a while and now the ball is rolling a little bit, starting to pick up momentum.
"Hopefully there’s two more in this week and that gets cleared, and as we build up towards Stranraer (League 2 opener on August 5) I’m sure the squad will look much healthier."
Ross County manager Malky Mackay confirmed the loan deal for MacLeman, who spent last season on loan at Forres Mechanics in the Highland League.
"Ryan had a successful loan spell in the Highland League last season and this is the next step in his development," Mackay said.
"It is vitally important that we have a pathway for our talented young players.
"I am looking forward to watching Ryan test himself in League Two."
MacLeman was joined at Forres last season by County team-mate Connall Ewan, who is understood to be interesting Elgin as well.
The Dingwall club also loaned out youngsters George Robeston and Andrew Macleod to Nairn County this week.
City are also believed to be trailing 17-year-old Aberdeen defender Blair McKenzie, but Draper would not name his current loan targets until business was completed.
