Dressage qualifiers battle it out at Mundole equestrian finals day

LAST weekend's finals day at Mundole equestrian centre was met by glorious sunshine.

It was a fine day for horses, riders and supporters, with the competitiors qualifying during the season at dressage competitions.

The Preliminary Finals winner was Sam Winn, Keith with Curious George, who also claimed top spot in the Preliminary League table.

Novice Finals winner was Vicky Penman from Elgin with Cottontail. Vicky and Roshine McSween with Ebonys Pride were equal runners-up in the Novice League to another Elgin rider Kelly Steel on Misty.

Candy Cameron from Dores won first and second places in the Elementary League and won the Elementary Final.

There was a special performance from nine-year-old Lilly Forsyth from Knockando who came second and third in the Preliminary Final with her two ponies, Teddy and Ruby.

This weekend Mundole plays host to the show jumping finals event.
