Wood (26) has completed a switch from Forres to Jags on a three-year deal, joining goalkeeper Stuart Knight who joined the Victoria Park club last month.

Buckie paid Forres a fee for the services of the midfielder, who can also play in defence.

Mechanics have already signed goalkeeper Lee Herbert and defender Mark McLauchlan from Buckie during the close season.

Wood had been at Mosset Park for the past three seasons after spending the previous three years at Rothes.

He stepped up to Highland League football from Dufftown juniors.
