It was the day when Brechin City scored one of the quickest goals in Highland League history, and Buckie Thistle scored their 100th of the season in January.
Claims suggest there were just six seconds on the clock when Marc Scott crashed a 20-yard drive past Lossiemouth keeper Cammy Farquhar to give Brechin their opening goal at Grant Park.
It was certainly the fastest goal of the season so far and surely one of the most rapid in league history, setting the Tayside club up for a 3-0 victory in Moray.
Scott added a second shortly before half time, before Lossie had defender Lewis McAndrew sent off for an off-the-ball incident right on half time.
A first-ever Brechin goal for Dominik Naglik in second half stoppage time sealed City's victory.
They still trail leaders Buckie by two points with two games in hand.
Buckie were comfortable winners at home to Inverurie Locos, with Josh Peters and Andy MacAskill scoring in a 2-0 Jags victory.
Peters netted his 22nd goal since his move from Elgin City to break the deadlock on 53 minutes.
MacAskill added his own 16th of the term, and Buckie's 100th of the canpaign in all competitions to wrap things up just after the hour mark.
Huntly came from behind to score three times late on and defeat hosts Deveronvale.
Dane Ballard's 12th goal of the season midway through the first half gave Vale the half time lead.
It stayed 1-0 until the closing 15 minutes when Huntly stepped up their game to snatch victory.
Striker Robbie Foster had come off the bench just a few minutes earlier when he fired home Huntly's equaliser.
Callum Murray then netted his second goal for Huntly since his mid-season move from Forres to edge the visitors ahead with seven minutes to go.
Foster added his own second in the closing minutes from the penalty spot.
Champions Fraserburgh's title defence is fading fast after they were held to a 2-2 draw at home to Nairn County.
Ryan Sargent gave Broch an early lead before veteran Ross Tokely netted for the third game running with a penalty to quickly restore parity.
Bryan Hay then missed a penalty for Fraserburgh and Nairn went in front through Scott Davidson's goal with 20 minutes left.
Willie West rescued a draw for the Buchan side with five minutes left but the gap is widening between last year's title winners and the top two.
The other five fixtures in the Highland League were postponed due to the wintry weather.
