The former Caley Thistle player was Mechanics' top scorer this season with nine goals.

He joined Forres in October 2017, initially on loan from Inverness before making the move permanently the following summer.

In his loan season at the Moray club Macrae scored 15 goals, and netted in eight consecutive matches at the start of 2018.

Last season he finished joint-top scorer with Stuart Soane on 25 goals for the Cans.

He was awarded Highland League young player of the year in each of his first two campaigns with Forres, and became a firm favourite with the Mosset Park faithful.

Macrae told Brora Rangers TV: “I want to win everything. I want silverware, I want to win the North Cup, Highland League Cup and the Highland League.”
