Forres Mechanics are understood to have agreed a deal with Dufftown Junior Football Club that will see Fraser Bremner depart for Westburn Park in the summer to take up a new role in a management team that is set to include former Can Cans midfielders Steven Rattray and Neil Whyte.

At the age of 26 he is making an early start to his managerial career but revealed that he has ambitions that he wishes to fulfill and that has lead to him making this move. “I have been coaching and managing since I was 15, and did a lot if my coaching badges at a young age.

“It will be very emotional leaving Forres, as its an unbelievable group of guys to play with, but having won every medal in the Highland League, I feel now is a good time to try fulfill my ambitions as a manager. . I can't wait to get started with Ratts and Whytey, but until then I will give my all to Forres."
