Ross County have parted company with manager Malky Mackay after a nine-game winless run.
The former Cardiff City, Watford and Wigan boss leaves after a two and a half year spell in charge which saw Ross County reach the top six in his first season and battle for Premiership survival in his second.
Former Scottish FA performance director Mackay, who received a manager of the year nomination after top six success in season 21/22, leaves with the club sitting second bottom of the Premiership table.
The decision was taken after a meeting between Mackay, chairman Roy MacGregor and CEO Steven Ferguson, with the club deciding that "a change is now required".
The chairman said “Malky has brought so much more to the club and the wider staff than just football management.
"The board would like to put on record our thanks for his contribution over the last 2 ½ years and wish him all the best in the next chapter of his career.”
A club spokesman said: "Malky joined the club in the summer of 2021 and had great success in leading the team to a Top 6 finish and a manager of the year nomination in his first season.
"His determination and drive to succeed was a contributing factor in saving Ross County from relegation at end of season 2022/23 with the now historic penalty shoot-out play-off win against Partick Thistle in Dingwall."
