What do you think about the Dallas Dhu development near Forres?
Moray Council is hosting a further exhibition regarding the Dallas Dhu housing development near Forres.
The drop-in event will take place on Thursday, February 29, from 2.30pm until 6.30pm in the Youth Room at Forres House Community Centre.
The exhibition will include further details on the design of the 180 new homes, plus the surrounding landscaping and infrastructure, as well as the proposals for accommodation for 40 students.
It follows on from the feedback received at the engagement session that took place on January 24.
The Scottish government, the council, Altyre Estate and Grampian Housing Association are all involved with the plans.
The development is also part of the Moray Growth Deal, which has a goal of building up to 300 affordable homes across the region, including Elgin, Speyside and along the Buckie coast.
Marc Macrae (Fochabers/Lhanbryde, Conservative) chairs Moray Council’s economic development committee.
He said: "We have an opportunity with Dallas Dhu to really push the innovation side of house building and create a forward-looking, multi-generational community in the heart of Moray.
"The possibilities are almost endless.
"I’d encourage anyone with an interest in finding out more to head along and get involved in the discussions about this exciting scheme."
From the day of the event until Thursday, March 7, it will be possible to view information and give feedback at moray.gov.uk/dallasdhu
