SMALL charities and constituted community groups are being invited to apply for grants of up to £2000.

Wee Grants cash can benefit all ages.

Run by the Robertson Trust, the Wee Grants fund is open to groups with an annual income of under £25,000.

There is no set deadline for applications and groups can apply for a one-grant of up to £2000.

Following a successful pilot last year, the Wee Grants scheme is now a permanent funding offer from the trust.

The pilot successfully reached a new audience of small charities and constituted community groups leading the trust to state that they recognised the important work that these organisations do in their communities and that they wanted to continue to support them.

Wee Grants cash can be used for a number of purposes, including covering revenue or capital costs.

The trust aims to make a decision on each application within eight weeks.
