Weather forecast for Moray

A yellow warning for snow and ice is in place across the whole of Moray for today.

Temperatures in Elgin are predicted to hover around the point of freezing all Tuesday, falling to -3C overnight.

The Met Office adds that the town has a 50% chance of snow between 7pm and 9pm this evening.

Up in the higher ground at Aberlour the forecast for snow ranges between 30% and 60% at various points during the day.

Meanwhile, temperatures in the village are predicted to fall as low as -6C at dawn tomorrow.

Snow is not currently being forecast for Wednesday, however it could make a return on Friday evening.
