The Eat Out To Help Out scheme starts on Monday.

THE UK government's Eat Out To Help Out scheme is set to come into effect on Monday.

Many places in the Forres area are taking part in the scheme, which will see sit-in customers get 50 per cent off food and drink, up to a total of £10 per person, on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

The offer will run throughout August, with no limit to the amount of times one person can take part.

No voucher is needed to use the scheme and it can be used at the same time as other offers and discounts. There is no minimum spend.

Alcoholic drinks and service charges are excluded from the offer.

Please note some businesses may still sign up before Monday.
