The first employer taking part in Way to Work in Moray is Tivoli Group.

The firm is recruiting seasonal workers for grass cutting contracts running from April to October. The work involves using petrol strimmers, pedestrian mowers, blowers and, if the candidate has a driving licence, ride-on machinery to cut grass on various sites across the Moray, Aberdeenshire and Highland areas.

Jobseekers who are interested in attending an interview with this employer should contact their work coach in the first instance.

Way to Work is a national push to help even more people benefit from the record number of vacancies available in the jobs market, including many in sectors vital to national recovery.

At the same time as record vacancies, the DWP has hundreds of thousands of people on Universal Credit who are actively looking to make a fresh start in work.

This means there are many talented, work-ready people on their books who are eager to take on vacant roles with Moray businesses.

Employers seeking to fill vacancies through the Way to Work scheme looking to fill a vacancy will be offered a named employer adviser in their local Jobcentre to support their journey through the scheme, or a dedicated national account manager if they are a national employer.

The DWP has a range of recruitment services that can help employers.

Businesses interested in participating in Way to Work can call the Employer Services Line on 0800 169 0178. Alternatively, email the DWP at employer.services@dwp.gov.uk to be put in touch with a local employer adviser.
