Three more coronavirus cases in Moray

THREE new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed overnight in Moray, taking the area's total to 65.

Ten new cases, meanwhile, have been confirmed across the NHS Grampian region, meaning the health board has registered 1152 positive cases of covid-19 since the outbreak began.

Aberdeenshire has 404 confirmed cases, with Aberdeen City having 669. Neighbouring Highland council has 189 cases.

At midnight, there were 98 people in Grampian hospitals with confirmed or suspected coronavirus, with 11 in intensive care. These numbers are identical to yesterday's.

Scotland-wide, the number of people who have tested positive for coronavirus and died within 28 days is now 2053. That is an increase of 46 deaths overnight.

A total of 82,266 people have been tested for the virus in Scotland, with 68,006 negative and 14,260 positive. The number of patients discharged from hospital is 3290.

The message across Scotland remains: Stay home, protect the NHS, save lives.
