EVERYTHING you could possibly imagine for your wedding day – and a little more besides – will be on show at Elgin Town Hall this weekend.
The Northern Scot Wedding Show takes centre stage this Sunday, August 20 from 12-3pm.
Whether you are getting married for the first time, or both you and your partner have been married before, you will want to make the day as special as you can.
Plotting your way through all the necessary arrangements can be challenging, as well as finding the perfect ingredients for a great day.
A helping hand to guide you through the process would be welcome but not everyone can afford a wedding planner.
The next best thing is a one-stop shop where you can talk to people at the heart of the wedding community locally.
That's where The Northern Scot wedding show comes in and it has established itself as one of the best events on the matrimonial calendar.
In recent years – with the exception of the Covid pandemic years – it has proved a real crowd-pleaser.
And it's easy to see why with a diverse range of exhibitors, covering every conceivable aspect of your wedding day, and maybe even some you hadn't thought of yourself.
This year is no exception and Lynn Gardner, events manager for Highland News and Media – parent company of The Northern Scot – has brought together a wonderful group of exhibitors for those attending the show.
"We can't wait to welcome people on Sunday," she said. "Everything is in place for another great afternoon.
"We hope there will be a real buzz around the town hall which has proved a super venue for our wedding show."
The show is on from 12pm until 3pm, with the fashion show of wedding dresses and outfits starting from 2pm.
There will be welcome drinks on arrival from the Cocktail Den for all those attending the show.
For the fashion show Bridalwear will be supplied by Opalily Bridal, a one stop bridal shop, for just about everything you need from confetti to your wedding dress which can be found at 19 High Street, Turriff, with Mother of the Bride courtesy of La-di-da Fashion, ladies boutique at 94 Academy Street, Inverness, which has twice been a regional winner in the Scottish Wedding Awards in the last four years.
The models' hair will be done by Keith stylist Brogan Rennie Hair, of Studio 55 at 81 Mid Street, and make up by TM Beauty and Makeup, also from Studio 55 in Keith.
