Winter Gathering at Universal Hall, Findhorn to feature seasonal song and dance

THE FESTIVE season kicks off near Findhorn this weekend with a celebration of song and dance.

The 42nd ‘Winter Gathering’ starts at 7.30pm in Universal Hall on Friday, December 8 - attend in person or by live streaming.

Event spokesperson Sharon Took-Zozaya confirmed New Findhorn Association (NFA) is sponsoring this year’s show and entry is by donation in aid of local charities Moray Food Plus and R-evolution for Good.

“Performances will include joyful carols, wintry songs, meditative dance and timely comedy,” she said. “The programme features: Sounds Deep men’s choir; Andrea Turner’s poetry and song; Drumduan School Choir; Alan Watson Featherstone’s nature video accompanied by harp duo Barbara Swetina and Carolin Waldman; Findhorn Sacred Dance Group with live music; stories told by Peter Vallance and Sylvia Robertson; Dave Till’s humorous video; and much more!”

Sharon will be presenting the show alongside MC Stewart Friendship.
