AFTER a three-month absence due to the coronavirus lockdown we are delighted to announce the return of Pet of the Week in conjunction with the SSPCA's rehoming and rescue centre at Drumoak, near Aberdeen.

Skye is on the lookout for a new home.
Skye is on the lookout for a new home.

Looking for a new home this week is Skye, a friendly, confident mare.

She is a well natured mare who is currently standing at approximately 12.2hh.

Skye is good to catch, lead, groom and is well mannered for the farrier and the vet. She is a very confident and loving pony, she is always first to come and greet staff at the gate.

The Scottish SPCA believe that once Skye is old enough she would make a suitable riding pony. As she is currently living with a large herd of mares, so her new home would need a companion for her.

If you think you can offer her a loving home, please apply via the Scottish SPCA website at scottishspca.org/rehome-a-pet/3221-skye
