NHS Grampian asks patients to call helpline or visit website to rearrange Covid-19 vaccination if appointment location unsuitable

NHS Grampian has responded to queries from Forres area patients querying the location of their second Covid-19 vaccinations.
A number of people who were given their first jab at the Fiona Elcock Vaccination Centre, Unit 7, Elgin Retail Park have been sent invites for their second dose further afield, including in Dufftown (29 miles) and Huntly (40 miles).
A spokesperson for the NHS board said: "We are aware people in Moray have received their invite for their second vaccination early or at a different location to the first.
"Individuals should have at least eight weeks between their vaccinations.
"If you have received an earlier appointment or if you would like to change the location of your appointment, please contact the Covid-19 Vaccination Helpline on 0800 030 8013 or rearrange online at www.nhsinform.scot/covid19vaccineappointments."
