POLICE are urging the public to avoid Findhorn Beach, an area known locally as the road to East Beach, after an unidentified World War 2 ordnance was found.
Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) has been contacted and officers currently remain on the scene.
The discovery follows a similar incident earlier this year when an unexploded wartime bomb was found at Culbin Forest outside Forres.
