Police urge public to avoid Findhorn Beach after unidentified WW2 ordnance is found

POLICE are urging the public to avoid Findhorn Beach, an area known locally as the road to East Beach, after an unidentified World War 2 ordnance was found.

EOD have been called and officers remain on the scene.

Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) has been contacted and officers currently remain on the scene.

The discovery follows a similar incident earlier this year when an unexploded wartime bomb was found at Culbin Forest outside Forres.
