Police make arrest after A96 crash in Moray

A 35-year-old driver has been arrested after a crash which led to another car going off the road.

The incident which involved two vehicles happened on Monday evening on the A96 near Alves.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were called to a two-vehicle crash at around 6.50pm. Officers attended to assist and a 35-year-old man was arrested in connection with road traffic offences."

The driver of the other vehicle is recovering in hospital.
