PICTURES: Moray families celebrate Halloween at spooktacular Forres haunted house

PEOPLE from across Moray and the Highlands have visited Forres, to take part in a spooky Halloween tradition.

This year marks the 12th year that the Stewart family, who live on Twinning Link in Forres, have transformed their home into a spooky Halloween house in aid of charity.

The Stewarts are well known for their fantastic Halloween and Christmas decorations and the celebrations take months to plan, with visitors from as far as Inverness visiting the house to celebrate Halloween.

Pauline Stewart said: "We had a lot of support this year and lots of people came from all over to see the house.

"We really enjoy doing it – it's for the kids and they absolutely love it and it all helps to raise money for Cash for Kids."

The Stewart family are now planning their Christmas decorations and are looking forward to the festive season ahead.

Pauline added: "Thank you to everyone for coming and to the team at Tesco who donated sweeties to us. There are a lot of people who help in the background and we're really grateful for their support and the support of people in Forres."
