PET OF THE WEEK: Sweet soul Rio wants to bring some sunshine into forever home

GINGER and white cat Rio is ready to find his forever home.
He is currently being cared for by the Scottish SPCA Aberdeenshire Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre.
Rio is a sweet soul who has really grown in confidence during his stay at the centre. His shy behaviour on arrival has disappeared and been replaced with a cat that loves to play and adores getting attention.
As he may be a little nervous in his new home to begin with, the Society think he would be best living with older children. Rio has a gorgeous long coat so a home that is experienced in grooming cats would be best, to keep him looking handsome.
The Society is unsure of what outside access Rio has had before, but would like him to have the opportunity to venture outdoors if he chooses. Rio would be happiest as the only animal in his new home so he can bask in all the attention.
