MAGGIE the Shetland pony is on the lookout for her forever home.

She is currently being cared for by the Scottish SPCA Aberdeenshire Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre in Mains of Drum near Banchory.

Now 14 years old, Maggie enjoys being pampered.

She will allow people to pick up her feet and is good with the farrier when in need of shoeing, hoof trimming or addressing other issues.

She likes going on walks but sometimes needs a little encouragement to get going.

And, due to her nervous nature, she is in need of an owner who has the time and patience to help her come out of her shell.

If you can give Maggie her new home or want to find out more, please apply via the Scottish SPCA website by visiting https://www.scottishspca.org/rehome-a-pet/12772-maggie.
