Pair charged after Grantown Road serious assault

POLICE have arrested and charged two men after an assault left a 54-year-old victim needing medical treatment.
The pair, aged 18 and 36, have been arrested and charged in connection with a disturbance and serious assault in the Grantown Road area of Forres.
The incident took place around 2.50pm on Saturday, April 22, 2023.
The 54-year-old male victim was treated at the nearby medical centre following the incident.
The two men are expected to appear at court today (April 24, 2023).
