New owner takes over Orchard Road Dental Practice following Royal Bank of Scotland funding

A RENOWNED Forres dental practice has changed hands following a funding boost from Royal Bank of Scotland.
Industry acclaimed dentist, Dr. Saranya Selvaraj has purchased Orchard Road Dental Practice following the retirement of Mr. Kenneth Lang last year, who had led the practice for over 40 years.
Dr Selvaraj, who moved to the UK in 2013 had previously been practising in Invergordon, before making the move to Forres with her husband and two young children.
Since qualifying with University Rank in 2010, Dr. Selvaraj has developed a reputation as being an expert with nervous patients – receiving widespread praise for her calm and reassuring manner with phobic clients, as well as young and elderly patients and being shortlisted twice in the Best Young Dentist category at the UK Dentistry Awards.
With Dr Selvaraj now leading the practice, Orchard Road has plans to expand its operation and is currently on the hunt for talented dental practitioners to join its growing team.
Dr. Saranya Selvaraj said: “I decided to take ownership of Orchard Road Dental Practice with the goal of creating a local dental practice that can offer a first-class patient-journey experience and I’m incredibly grateful for Royal Bank’s support in making that dream a reality.
“Since opening a few months ago, we’re already growing at a rapid pace and are really excited at the prospect of expanding our team, and the range of services we can offer to residents of Forres.”
