The film and live concert, titled Yoyo and The Little Auk, introduces children to classical music in a fun and interactive way.

The orchestral tale tells the story of a little auk who lands in the fictional town of Inverkithkin following a terrible storm and is welcomed into the community by Yoyo on the night of the annual ceilidh.

The story has been brought to life by a world-class creative team including Scottish BAFTA-winning animator Gavin C Robinson, author Stewart Ennis, composer Euan Stevenson, director Dougie Irvine and producer Laura Penny.

The performances from part of the SNO’s expanding early years engagement, aiming to aiming to reach children across the length and breadth of Scotland and is supported by EventScotland in celebration of Scotland’s Year of Stories 2022.

The Royal Scottish National Orchestra will put on two performances in Forres this Saturday (September 24) at 11am and 2.30pm. Tickets are available on the Findhorn Bay Arts Festival website.
